Mensart's full redesign drops next week — here's a preview
We're 80% through Mensart's V2 redesign. Editorial layouts, a custom collection page system, and a checkout flow tuned for the Bangladesh fashion buyer. Soft launch May 22nd.
This post is dated May 22, 2026 — by design, you’re reading it on or after that day. Our blog system publishes posts on their scheduled date automatically. Future posts stay hidden until the build server crosses their publish date.
What’s launching with Mensart V2
- Editorial homepage with seasonal lookbook layout
- Custom collection-page system (vs. the default Shopify-style grid)
- Mobile-first product detail page with swipe gallery + size guide
- Checkout reduced from 7 steps to 3
- Bengali language toggle at top of every page
- bKash + Nagad + card + COD all enabled
What we measured before launch
The V1 site had a 2.4% conversion rate on the product page → checkout step. Industry average for BD fashion: 1.1–1.8%. So V1 was already above average — but checkout completion was where the funnel leaked.
V2’s bet: simplify checkout to win back the lost 40% who started but didn’t finish.
We’ll have real numbers two weeks after launch.
The pattern across BD fashion clients
Every fashion brand we’ve worked with hits the same trio of issues:
- Mobile photography quality is the #1 conversion factor. We re-shoot product images on every project — it’s not a luxury, it’s the conversion engine.
- Size confidence kills checkout. Without a real size guide (per-item measurements, not “S/M/L”), shoppers bail.
- Returns policy must be visible before checkout, not after. The shopper who’s nervous about return policy bounces at the checkout button.
V2 addresses all three. More on launch day.
