The challenge
Most BD e-commerce platforms force a choice: marketplace or storefront. YoPekka needed both — a unified product catalog with multi-vendor support, plus the ability for any vendor to spin up a private branded storefront. Plus bKash + Nagad + COD checkout, Pathao + RedX shipping integration, and an admin built for non-tech teams.
The brief
YoPekka came to us with an ambitious vision: a single e-commerce platform that worked as a multi-vendor marketplace AND let each vendor optionally launch their own branded storefront with a custom domain — sharing inventory, orders, and accounts.
Most BD e-commerce solutions are template-based. We knew this needed a ground-up Laravel build.
What we built
- Marketplace storefront with category, brand, and search filtering
- Per-vendor branded storefronts sharing a unified order pipeline
- Vendor onboarding flow with KYC verification
- Bangladesh payments — bKash, Nagad, Rocket, SSLCommerz, COD
- Shipping integrations — Pathao, RedX, Steadfast — automated label printing, real-time tracking
- Admin dashboard built for non-technical operations team
- Inventory engine handling per-vendor SKUs, low-stock alerts, multi-warehouse
The stack
Laravel 12 + Livewire 4 + Alpine.js for the admin; Tailwind 4 for the storefronts. MySQL for transactional data, Redis for queues and caching. TipTap for the rich product description editor.
Outcome
Marketplace went live 9 weeks after kickoff. First vendor onboarded in week 10. We continue to ship features on a retainer.
