Website Redesign

Website Redesign Services

If your site is slow, hard to update, or embarrassing next to a competitor's, a redesign fixes it — without resetting your SEO to zero. We audit what's actually broken, map every existing URL to its replacement, and rebuild on code you own outright. No template refresh, no lost rankings, no guessing what changed after launch.

Signs it's time

Five signs your site needs a redesign, not a patch

A new hero image or a font swap doesn't fix any of these. They're structural — and they're exactly what the audit below is built to catch.

Traffic comes in, nobody converts

You're not short on visitors — you're short on form submissions, calls, and completed checkouts. A redesign that ignores the funnel just moves the same drop-off point onto a prettier page.

Pages take three-plus seconds to load

Every second past one second of load time costs measurable conversion — Google's own research shows it, and mobile visitors on a real connection notice before your analytics dashboard does.

It works, technically, on a phone

Responsive isn't the same as designed for mobile. Buttons too small to tap, text that reflows wrong, a checkout that only really works on desktop — and most of your traffic is on a phone.

The site doesn't look like the business anymore

You've repositioned, added services, or grown past the company the current site describes. Visitors quietly assume you haven't kept up with a site built for who you were three years ago.

Every content change means calling someone

Updating a price, swapping a photo, or publishing one post shouldn't need an email to a developer and a three-day wait. If your team can't touch the site, the CMS is due for a rebuild too.

The process

Redesign without resetting your rankings

Five steps, always in this order. The rebuild is step four — three steps of planning happen before a single page changes, and one step of verification happens after.

01

Audit

We crawl the live site: every page, every ranking keyword, Core Web Vitals score, and where visitors actually drop off. Nothing gets rebuilt on a guess about what's broken.

02

Architecture

New information architecture gets planned around what already ranks and what actually converts — keeping the pages earning traffic, merging or retiring the ones that aren't.

03

301 map

Every existing URL is mapped to its replacement and the redirect written before the old site goes offline. The map is staged and tested — not improvised the night of launch.

04

Rebuild

The site gets rebuilt on Laravel, or whichever stack fits the case — new design, new content system, same or better copy where it's already working. Code is yours the day it ships.

05

Verify

Before the old site comes down, every redirect gets tested, the new sitemap is submitted, and we watch Search Console for two weeks post-launch to confirm nothing silently drops out of the index.

Full payment terms and milestone sign-offs for every build — redesigns included — are on the process page.

Own it, don't rent it

We rebuild on code you own — not a template refresh

A lot of what gets sold as a "redesign" is a new theme installed inside the same rented platform — a fresh Squarespace or WordPress template, the same page-builder ceiling, the same monthly fee, the same list of things you still can't change without waiting on a plugin update. It looks different. It doesn't behave differently.

We rebuild the site itself — usually on Laravel, sometimes on whatever stack actually fits the case — which means the code is yours from the day it launches, not a theme you keep renting month to month. Want checkout to work differently next year, or a feature nobody sells as a plugin? We change the code. There's no app-store workaround to wait on, and nothing gets held hostage to a platform's roadmap.

Every project, no exceptions

What's included in every redesign

Same non-negotiable baseline as a brand-new build — a redesign doesn't ship a stripped-down version missing SSL, analytics, or an ownership guarantee.

  • Mobile-responsive on every device
  • Core Web Vitals performance tuning
  • On-page SEO, schema markup + Search Console setup
  • SSL certificate (HTTPS) on every site
  • Cross-browser testing
  • Analytics setup (GA4 + conversion tracking)
  • Spam-protected forms
  • 100% code and content ownership — no lock-in, ever
  • Accessibility-aware, WCAG-informed build
  • Post-launch support window included

Most redesigns land in Business Pro, at $2,950 — no page caps, a self-editable CMS, and the SEO carried straight over from the audit. A smaller brochure-site refresh fits Launch; rebuilding a store off Shopify, WooCommerce, or a page builder moves you into Commerce, with the full catalog and checkout rebuilt on Laravel. Every quote is scoped to your existing site before we start — never a guess.

Pricing

Three redesign scopes, one fixed price each

Business Pro is the default for most redesigns. Launch and Commerce cover the smaller and larger ends — pick by what the audit finds, not by a package name.

Not sure which fits? Request a custom quote and we'll recommend the right one.

FAQ

Website redesign — your questions

Rankings, content, timeline, and whether you actually need a full rebuild — what we hear before every redesign kicks off.

Will I lose my Google rankings during the redesign?
Not if the migration is planned before launch instead of scrambled together after. Every page on your current site gets mapped to its replacement URL, with a 301 redirect written and tested before the old site goes offline — that's what carries your existing rankings and backlinks to the new pages instead of starting from zero. We also resubmit your sitemap and watch Search Console for the first two weeks post-launch, so a dropped page gets caught in days, not months.
Can I keep my existing content, or does everything get rewritten?
Your call, page by page. Copy that's already ranking and converting gets carried over and re-laid-out inside the new design — we don't rewrite words that are working just to touch them. Pages that are thin, outdated, or duplicating each other get rewritten or merged as part of the architecture step, and you approve that plan for every page before anything actually changes.
How long does a redesign take?
Most Business Pro redesigns — the common scope, no page caps plus a self-editable CMS — run 2 to 4 weeks from kickoff to launch. A smaller brochure-site refresh on the Launch package takes 5 to 7 business days; a full store rebuild off Shopify or WooCommerce (Commerce) runs 3 to 6 weeks. The audit and URL-mapping work happens before that clock starts, so discovery doesn't stretch the build timeline.
Can we redesign in phases instead of all at once?
Yes, and for larger sites it's often the safer path. We can rebuild the highest-traffic or worst-converting section first — a product catalog, a blog, a pricing page — verify the redirects and rankings hold, then move to the next section. The redirect map and information architecture get planned for the whole site upfront either way, so a phased rollout doesn't mean redoing the plan twice.
My site is on Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress. Do I need a full rebuild?
If the real problem is speed, security, or a ceiling on what you can customize, yes — a new theme inside the same rented platform just moves the same limitations to a different template. We rebuild on Laravel, or the stack that actually fits your case, which is also the only way you end up owning the code outright instead of renting it every month. If the real problem is just outdated design on a system that otherwise works fine, we'll say so on the audit call instead of selling you a rebuild you don't need.
What if the audit finds the site is actually fine, mostly?
Then we tell you that. The audit isn't a sales document — if conversion, speed, and mobile are solid and the real issue is a handful of outdated pages, that's a lighter scope and a lower quote than a full Business Pro rebuild, not an upsell into one.
